Biography
Venturino Ruffinelli was a printer active in Venice and Mantua, originally from Brescia (according to Ascarelli-Menato) or Venice (according to Rhodes), and the father of Giacomo. He worked alone and in partnership with Giovanni Padovano. The date of his death is given as 1558 in the repertories, but there is an edition in which his signature appears in Mantua in 1559.
