Rojas Fernando

Spanish writer (b. perhaps Montalbán c. 1470 - d. Talavera 1541), considered the author of La Celestina because the name of the bachelor Fernando de Rojas appears in some acrostic verses preceding the work as the author of the final twenty acts. These were supposedly composed as a continuation of the first act, which circulated in manuscript form and was attributed by some to Juan de Mena, and by others to Rodrigo de Cota.
