Manuzio Aldo heirs of

Aldo's heirs were his sons, Marco Manuzio, Antonio and Paolo, who were all minors at the time of their father's death. The company was therefore initially managed by Andrea Torresano the Elder, Aldo's partner and father-in-law, and his sons, Giovanni Francesco and Federico. Once Paolo, the youngest son of Aldo, had come of age, the company continued with the Torresano family until 1540; subsequently, the Manuzio and Torresano families continued to work separately.
