Cacchi worked as a printer in Naples, L'Aquila and Vico Equense. Born in L'Aquila around 1533 or 1535, he learnt the art of typography in Naples from Orazio Salviani. In 1565 he returned to L'Aquila to open his own printing press and bookshop. In 1569 he brought printing to Vico Equense. He probably died in 1593.
