Printer from Verona who worked in Perugia, son of Bernardo. In 1497, the city of Perugia entrusted him with the task of caring for two lions donated to the city by Giampaolo Baglioni; from then on, he was nicknamed Bianchino del Leone. In Perugia, he had a home and workshop near the fish market and the church of St. Henry. He partnered with Girolamo Cartolari for a single edition. In addition to being a printer, he was a publisher, bookbinder, and creator of woodcuts. From 1527 to 1531, his output ceased. He may have died in 1544, although the names of his sons appear on the city’s payment documents as early as 1536. He was succeeded by his son Girolamo.
